There’s truly nothing like spending time in Israel for those who cherish the Word of God. It’s more than just walking where Jesus walked (or swimming where He walked). It’s more than simply breathing the same air our Biblical heroes breathed. Or gazing at the same hills and valleys they saw. It IS those things, but it’s much more…
There’s something tangibly validating about simply being in an ancient place you’ve believed existed for so long. And it’s also deeply moving to know this is a place God never stopped talking about!
The Land of Zion is…
“…a land that the LORD your God cares for. The eyes of the LORD your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.” - Deut 11:12
“The LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. ‘This is My resting place forever.’” - Ps 132:13
My wife Sarah will be joining me, along with our sons Michael and Nick, and we so look forward to spending time with you all, sharing stories, singing songs, worshiping, and simply experiencing it all together!

Experience Mount Carmel and Nazareth Village, explore the ruins of Magdala and Capernaum, recall Jesus’ teachings on the Mount of Beatitudes and Ceasarea Philippi in the Golan Heights. Boat out on the Sea of Galilee, enjoy sunsets over those waters each evening. Be baptized in the Jordan River!

Ascend from ancient Jericho up the Mountain of the Lord to Jerusalem, the city from which God’s eyes never depart (2 Chron 7:16). Follow Jesus’ steps from the Mount of Olives to the Garden of Gethsemane to the Garden Tomb for a time a communion! Enjoy a relaxing Sabbath exploring Jerusalem at your own pace. Visit the archeological finds in the City of David, navigate Hezekiah’s Tunnel, stand at the Southern Steps, on the Temple Mount, and lift up your prayers at the Western Wall.

We’ll stand atop Herod’s Fortress of Masada, hike through King David’s secret hideout at Ein Gedi’s beautiful springs, and float on the salty waters of the Dead Sea!

We’ll worship at each location, gather for evening times of worship and reflection, and are making plans to gather for a special evening concert.
